General Liability Associate Attorney

A law firm in Iselin, NJ, is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of experience in general liability matters. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. They should be able to work collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Handle general liability matters including product liability, construction accidents (LL 240), and premises liability.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant issues.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and court proceedings.
• Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Work as a team member to ensure successful outcomes for clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising attorneys.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in New York.
• 1-4 years of experience with general liability matters.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
