Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience, preferably in business and/or commercial real estate litigation. The candidate will be responsible for conducting fact investigations, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and pretrial and trial work. Strong writing and analysis skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are essential, along with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school and be a member of the California State Bar in good standing.

Duties:

• Conduct fact investigations
• Draft pleadings and motions
• Manage discovery processes
• Engage in pretrial and trial work
• Perform legal research and analysis
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and proceedings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Collaborate with legal team members on case strategy and execution

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Membership in the California State Bar in good standing
