Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Assist with all aspects of civil litigation, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Assist senior attorneys with case management and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or eligibility for admission by examination or reciprocity.
  • 0-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense).
  • Strong academic credentials with an emphasis on writing skills.
  • Specific interest in civil litigation and trial practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or eligibility for admission.

 

Skills:
