Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment/Commercial Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience for its Salt Lake City office. The ideal candidate will have a background in private practice, with expertise in commercial litigation and/or labor and employment law. California licensure is advantageous but not mandatory.

Duties

  • Counsel clients on legal matters.
  • Manage discovery processes effectively.
  • Conduct depositions with precision.
  • Draft and argue briefs competently.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in private practice.
  • Experience in commercial litigation and/or labor and employment law.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and oral communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
