A law firm is seeking a Senior Private Client Services Associate Attorney for their Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

Job Overview:

The Senior Private Client Services Associate Attorney will be key in providing comprehensive legal services in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, estate and trust administration, and related services. The candidate will work closely with a Partner who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates.

Job Details:

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and provide strategic legal advice on estate planning matters.
  • Manage and oversee estate and trust administration processes.
  • Assist individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries, such as banks and trust companies, in navigating legal complexities.
  • Collaborate with the Partner to ensure seamless execution of legal services.

Requirements:

  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in estate planning and related services.
  • Proven expertise in estate and gift taxation.
  • Familiarity with international estate planning is a plus.
  • Experience working with charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters independently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • LLM in Tax or Estate Planning is preferred.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the Florida Bar is required.
  • Willingness to become a member of the Florida Bar if not already.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
