Litigation Associate

Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motions, including dispositive motions

• Participate in discovery, including depositions and expert witness preparation

• Handle pretrial matters and assist with trial preparation

• Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and support staff on case strategy

• Manage client communications and case updates

• Appear in court as needed for hearings, conferences, and proceedings

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm with a comparable practice

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation independently and in team settings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service

• Interest in long-term professional growth and advancement within the firm

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance required; top-tier law school preferred

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in good standing with the State Bar of California

Skills:

• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills

• Strong oral advocacy and interpersonal communication abilities

• Skilled in managing discovery, drafting motions, and court filings

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple litigation matters under time constraints
