A law firm based in San Francisco is seeking an Antitrust/Competition Associate Attorney with a strong interest in or experience with merger reviews. Experience with the FTC/DOJ is a plus. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience focusing on transactional-based work.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust laws and regulations.
  • Assist with merger reviews and other antitrust investigations.
  • Draft and review transactional documents for compliance with antitrust laws.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on antitrust matters.
  • Assist with antitrust litigation cases as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in antitrust laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • 1-5 years of experience focusing on transactional-based work.
  • Significant interest in or experience with merger reviews.
  • FTC/DOJ experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Education:

JD from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
