Job Overview:

The Labor And Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and representation to clients in labor and employment matters. Ideal candidates will possess 3-6 years of experience with California employment law and be licensed to practice law in California. Strong analytical skills, excellent writing abilities, and experience with depositions, administrative hearings, and trial support are essential.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assist with deposition preparation and conduct depositions as needed.
  • Handle administrative hearings and proceedings.
  • Serve as second chair in trials, assisting with trial preparation and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
  • 3-6 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, with a focus on California law.
  • Experience with depositions, administrative hearings, and trial support.
  • Strong legal writing skills and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
