Mid-Level Not-For-Profit Associate Attorney

Garden City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mid-level not-for-profit associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will assist in entity formation, application for federal tax exemption, preparation of policies and procedures, contract drafting and negotiation, and work on fundamental corporate transactions. Other responsibilities may include assisting in real estate and financing transactions for group homes, schools, and other facilities. Interest or experience in litigation and guardianship matters is a plus. Should preferably have interest and experience in representing not-for-profit organizations, particularly in the healthcare field.

The candidate should have excellent drafting and negotiating skills, the ability to effectively communicate with clients and counsel in a timely manner, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team when needed.
