The ideal candidate must be a self-starter capable of handling various aspects of family law and civil litigation cases.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and drafting of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in family law and other civil litigation matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Manage caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Advocate for clients' interests in negotiations, mediations, and courtroom proceedings.
  • Provide excellent client service, maintaining positive client relations throughout the legal process.
  • Utilize computer skills for efficient case management and document preparation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Illinois.
  • Strong research and drafting ability.
  • Litigation experience in family law and other civil litigation.
  • Excellent client relations skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills for legal research, document drafting, and case management.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in Illinois.
