A law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney in Salt Lake City, UT.

Job Overview:

The Real Estate Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling various real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, development, leasing, title, land use, rights of way, construction contracts, and loan documents. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience, with a focus on commercial real estate, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, development, and leasing.
  • Provide legal counsel on title, land use, and rights of way issues.
  • Draft and negotiate construction contracts.
  • Review and analyze loan documents.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in real estate law.
  • Experience with commercial real estate transactions preferred.
  • Ideally, have 2 years of top-tier law firm experience in one or more of the following: commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, development, and leasing; title, land use, and rights of way; construction contracts; and loan documents.
  • Strong academic record from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Utah or eligible for admission.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Utah State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
