A law firm in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Chemistry Patent Attorney with 4+ years of experience to assist in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Chemistry or a similar technical background, be admitted to practice before the USPTO, and demonstrate superior writing and oral communication skills.

 

Duties:

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.
  • Conduct prior art searches and draft opinions on patentability and clearance.
