Mid-level to Senior Liability Attorney

A law firm is currently seeking a Mid-level to Senior Liability Attorney to join their team in Scranton. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of legal matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. They will manage their own cases, draft pleadings and legal documents, take and defend depositions, provide strategic legal analysis, and appear in court as needed.

Job Details:

• Handle a wide range of legal matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Manage and oversee individual cases throughout the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings and legal documents related to liability cases.
• Take and defend depositions, as well as handle oral arguments.
• Provide strategic legal analysis to support case management.

Requirements:

• Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Have 4+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for motor vehicle and premises liability cases.
• Experience in ride share litigation is a plus.
