A law firm in Boston is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney with a background in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The Senior Attorney will be responsible for reviewing and drafting various legal documents, managing projects, and communicating effectively with clients, lawyers, and third parties.

 

Job Details:

  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Possess transferable skills and a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Utilize strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, exceed expectations, and perform required work duties.
  • Undertake any other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
  • State and federal court experience is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in drafting litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions.
  • Specialization in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state of MA.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects with attention to detail.
  • Transferable skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
