Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with expertise in asbestos litigation. Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform assigned duties effectively.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external contacts.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, virtual conference calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in asbestos litigation.
  • Experience in managing a case docket and appearing in court is preferred.
  • Superior research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Admission to the California Bar.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
