A law firm seeking a Litigation Of Counsel:

Job Overview:

The Litigation Of Counsel will be crucial in handling complex commercial litigation and product liability cases. They will oversee associates, communicate with clients, draft legal documents, and contribute to case strategy.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and third parties
• Supervise associates and guide case-related tasks
• Assist with fact development, depositions, and expert witness coordination
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Contribute to the development of case strategy
• Produce high-quality work within deadlines
• Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with clients
• Comply with firm policies and practices
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including virtual meetings and conference calls
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• J.D. degree and Bar admission
• 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably in an AmLaw 100 firm
• Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation
• Background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) preferred
• Superior research, analytical, and writing skills
• Experience with pharmaceutical and medical device industry clients is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Academic background from nationally recognized schools

Education & Certifications:

• J.D. degree
• Bar Admission
• 8+ years of litigation experience
• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience

• Proficiency in legal writing and document drafting
• Ability to work effectively in a team or independently
