Job Overview:
A distinguished New Hampshire law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with at least four years of experience to join its Business Practice Group. This position is ideal for a collaborative and enthusiastic legal professional eager to contribute to a dynamic team handling a broad range of transactional matters. The successful candidate will engage with a diverse business client base and have the opportunity to build a practice aligned with their specific areas of interest.

Location:

  • Keene, New Hampshire

Duties:

  • Provide legal representation in business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending, and real estate deals

  • Advise corporate clients on entity formation, governance, and compliance matters

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide variety of contracts and legal agreements

  • Counsel municipalities on operational and legal issues

  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on multi-disciplinary client matters

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business and municipal clients

  • Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to firm growth

  • Take on leadership roles within the practice and mentor junior team members when appropriate

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business, transactional, or real estate law

  • Practical experience in general corporate law, real estate, M&A, or municipal representation preferred

  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently while working collaboratively

  • Interest in developing a personalized practice area within the business law sector

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New Hampshire State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
