The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience and a strong background in representing lenders and borrowers in complex leveraged finance and asset-based lending transactions, including RBL financing. The role requires the ability to assume high-level structuring, drafting, and deal management responsibilities, coupled with a comfort level for significant client interaction within a collaborative team environment.

 

Duties:

  • Represent lenders and borrowers in complex leveraged finance transactions.
  • Handle asset-based lending transactions, including RBL financing.
  • Assume high-level structuring, drafting, and deal management responsibilities.
  • Provide legal advice on financial market matters.
  • Engage in significant client interaction to understand and address client needs.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve client objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in large firm settings.
  • Experience in representing lenders and borrowers in leveraged finance and asset-based lending.
  • Knowledge of RBL financing.
  • Comfortable assuming high-level structuring, drafting, and deal management responsibilities.
  • Strong desire for significant client interaction and teamwork.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in leveraged finance and asset-based lending transactions.
  • Strong structuring, drafting, and deal management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
