Mid-level Patent Agent

A law firm in San Diego, CA, is actively seeking a Mid-level Patent Agent with a distinguished academic background, solid engineering or industry experience, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess at least 4 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience, with a degree in electrical engineering or computer science. Preferred experience in patent prosecution related to electrical engineering, software, data science, AI, networking technologies, and machine learning is highly encouraged. USPTO admission is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Duties:

• Perform patent preparation and prosecution activities with precision and attention to detail.

• Draft, review, and modify patent applications as necessary.
