A law firm seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney in Denver. The attorney will defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims, providing legal counsel to employers while representing them in court, administrative agencies, and alternative dispute resolution forums. The role requires a strong understanding of labor and employment laws, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing a wide array of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Represent employers in court proceedings, administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, addressing matters such as class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
  • Offer comprehensive advice and counsel to employers regarding various labor and employment laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
  • Active membership in the Colorado Bar or the ability to obtain admission promptly.
  • Proficient understanding of current court procedures and employment-related agency protocols at both state and federal levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and a dedication to delivering excellence.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on employment law matters.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active admission to the Colorado Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.
