Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including professional liability and labor and employment matters.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
• Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations.
• Draft legal documents such as discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Review and summarize discovery responses and depositions.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Communicate with clients to provide legal analysis and status updates.

Requirements

• Experience in New York litigation.
• Admitted to the New York Bar.
• Proficiency in drafting discovery, leading depositions, and arguing motions.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in Lexis software.
