Litigation Associate Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Assess newly assigned files to develop case strategies, budgets, and legal recommendations

• Identify and prepare appropriate pleadings, delegating tasks to paralegals when necessary

• Draft and respond to discovery requests; manage document production

• Attend and report on depositions, hearings, and other litigation events

• Negotiate settlements, obtain authority, and prepare cases for trial when required

• Maintain communication and coordination with paralegals and legal assistants

Requirements:

• 1–5 years of experience in:

  • Insurance coverage litigation

  • Professional liability defense

  • General liability litigation

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple litigation matters

• Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Georgia Bar License (required)

Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
