Job Overview

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on employment law to join its Riverside, California office. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to represent employers in a wide variety of workplace-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and employment contract claims. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Riverside, California

Duties

  • Defend employers in lawsuits and administrative charges involving employment-related claims

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and before federal and state agencies

  • Handle matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, tort, and non-compete disputes

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements

  • Advise and counsel clients on workplace law compliance and litigation prevention strategies

  • Provide training and updates to clients on labor and employment law developments

  • Participate in litigation involving class actions and PAGA claims (experience preferred)

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of legal experience, with a preference for employment law litigation

  • Demonstrated experience managing litigation matters in California courts

  • Familiarity with federal and state agency procedures

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Excellent academic credentials

Certifications

  • Active and good-standing admission to the California State Bar
