Workers Compensation Defense Attorney

A law firm seeks a Worker's Compensation Defense Attorney for its Cherry Hill, NJ office. The ideal candidate will represent public and private sector clients in responding to workers' compensation claims, representing carriers and third-party administrators in all phases of litigation.

Job Overview:

• Participate in the representation of public and private sector clients in responding to workers' compensation claims
• Represent carriers and third-party administrators in all phases of litigation

Duties:

• Handle workers' compensation defense cases for public and private sector clients
• Represent carriers and third-party administrators in litigation proceedings
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
• Stay updated on workers' compensation laws and regulations

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in direct handling of public and private sector clients
• Juris Doctor Degree
• Admission to New Jersey Bar
• Currently in Good Standing with the New Jersey State Bar
