Attorney needed for Dallas office

Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an Attorney with high academic achievement and substantial experience in real estate finance law. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and communication skills and 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.

Duties:

• Manage real estate finance transactions from inception through closing and post-closing activities.
• Handle loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Conduct asset management and workout activities as necessary.
• Run transactions on behalf of lenders, ensuring adherence to all legal requirements.
• Oversee secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of experience in real estate finance law, preferably in a large law firm setting.
• Solid experience in loan origination work and asset management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage transactions from start to finish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
