Duties:

  • Respond to office actions and provide strategic guidance in patent prosecution matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal opinions related to intellectual property issues.
  • Conduct thorough prior art searches to support patentability assessments.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and scientific teams to ensure accurate representation of inventions.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Biology Patent Agent.
  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Virology, or Molecular Biology.
  • Strong academic credentials with a proven track record of success.
  • Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • New York Bar admission.

Education:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Virology, or Molecular Biology.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice before the USPTO.
  • New York Bar admission.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of immunotherapy, gene therapy, cell therapy, and related fields.
