A law firm seeks a business and estate planning attorney for its Costa Mesa, CA, location. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions, provide legal support to nationally recognized entities, and frequently interact with high-net-worth individuals.

Job Overview:

  • Handle various legal matters, including transactional, business, tax, and estate planning.
  • Provide legal counsel on forming business entities, corporate governance, tax, business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, probate, and trust administration.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Manage and oversee complex transactions and projects.

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the California Bar.
  • Strong transactional, business, tax, and estate planning experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in forming business entities, corporate governance, tax, business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, probate, and trust administration.

Education & Certifications:

  • LLM in tax and modest book of business preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
