Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. Duties:

  • Provide clients with legal counsel and strategic advice on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Draft and review various documents related to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, profit-sharing plans, and other related agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on laws and regulations affecting executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to address client needs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm setting, focusing on executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Expertise in defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, profit-sharing plans, and related matters.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member.
  • A portable business book is highly preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
