Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is currently seeking a Mid-Level Class Action Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. Superior writing, research, and analytical skills are essential, with the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.

Duties:

• Handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters
• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently
• Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product
• Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required
• Foster positive work relationships within the firm
• Comply with all firm policies and practices
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as extended computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools
• Previous federal clerkship is a plus
• Class action experience preferred
• Superior writing skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Georgia

• Proficiency in legal research and analysis
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
