Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm in Garden City, NY is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury cases and must have Bar admission. Duties:

• Handle a caseload of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct client intake interviews and initial case assessments.
• Investigate claims, gather evidence, and evaluate liability and damages.
• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in New York.
• 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Commitment to client advocacy and service.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in New York.
