Duties:

  • Conduct non-infringement and invalidity analysis to support client decision-making processes.
  • Represent clients in post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
  • Conduct intellectual property due diligence for clients involved in biotech transactions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in patent counseling and prosecution, preferably in the biotechnology sector.
  • Hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience representing biotech companies and investors in patent-related matters.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Education:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
