A law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property (Health) Associate Attorney for its Nashville office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution within the life sciences industry and possess expertise in evaluating and managing patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios. Strong research and writing skills, along with the ability to handle strategic commercial agreements and perform IP due diligence, are essential.

Duties:

• Evaluate and manage patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios.
• Perform IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Handle strategic commercial agreements.
• Conduct patent prosecution within the life sciences industry.
• Collaborate with clients on technology transactions such as collaborations, licensing, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Admission to the USPTO.
• Admission to practice law in TN.
• 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution within the life sciences industry.
