A law firm is seeking a Litigation Connectivity, Privacy, And Information (Copyright) Associate Attorney to join their team in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have a passion for intellectual property law and a strong background in litigation, connectivity, privacy, and copyright matters.

Job Overview:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in litigation matters related to connectivity, privacy, and copyright issues.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and provide support on complex legal matters.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings.
• Analyze legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients on connectivity, privacy, and copyright matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and settlement proposals.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and legal arguments.
• Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions with opposing parties.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience practicing law, focusing on litigation, connectivity, privacy, and copyright matters.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, including copyright infringement and fair use principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
