Associate Attorney needed for San Diego office

A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong academic record, excellent writing skills, and a good understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and/or a judicial clerkship, demonstrating a willingness to assume significant courtroom responsibility.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with client meetings and communications.
• Attend and participate in firm meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• 2+ years of legal experience and/or a judicial clerkship.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and advocacy.
• Willingness to assume significant courtroom responsibility.

Education:
