Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in River Edge, NJ, is actively seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding research, writing, and litigation skills, coupled with the ability to work independently on complex matters. Preference will be given to candidates admitted to the New York State Bar and with prior experience in labor and employment matters. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling diverse and challenging legal matters.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage all aspects of the litigation process, from case initiation to resolution.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategies.
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Provide legal advice to clients on commercial litigation issues.
• Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Handle labor and employment matters as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Outstanding research, writing, and litigation skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex legal matters.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (strongly preferred).
• Experience with labor and employment matters (strongly preferred).

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar (preferred).
