The ideal candidate should have experience commensurate with time in practice, preferably with general property and/or mineral title experience in the energy sector. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients and legal teams are essential. The candidate must also possess a strong academic record, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to energy mineral title and division order matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including title opinions, leases, contracts, and agreements.
  • Assist with due diligence investigations and title examinations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties involved in energy transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various energy-related issues.
  • Participate in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Stay updated on developments in energy law and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 0-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on energy mineral title and division order practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and legal teams.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
