Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate Attorney to serve as counsel to national financial institutions and assist clients with the design, establishment, and launching of new loan programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in bankruptcy and litigation, strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, and must be admitted to the state Bar of Georgia.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to national financial institutions.
• Assist clients in designing, establishing, and launching new loan programs.
• Handle bankruptcy and litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state Bar of Georgia.
• 3-5 years of experience in a bankruptcy and restructuring practice.
• Emphasis on real estate workout and transactional restructuring.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the state Bar of Georgia.
