Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience

A law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience. The ideal candidate will manage their own caseload under partner oversight, handling various legal tasks such as drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses, conducting legal research, attending hearings and court conferences, defending depositions, attending inspections, consulting with expert witnesses, participating in mediations, and preparing for and conducting trials. The candidate must possess superior written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, be familiar with the NJ & NY Civil Court Rules, and be a self-starter.

Job Details:

• Managing own caseload with oversight by partners

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar
• Admission to the New York State Bar (preferred)
