The role primarily involves representing public and private companies, private funds, portfolio companies, and alternative investment vehicles in various tax aspects of fund formations, limited partner investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other similar transactional tax matters. The ideal candidate should possess strong deal management, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Additionally, the ability to comprehend how specific agreements fit within a larger landscape of agreements and goals is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are also required. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to public and private companies, private funds, portfolio companies, and alternative investment vehicles in various tax aspects of fund formations, limited partner investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional tax matters.

  • Analyze and comprehend the alignment of specific agreements within the larger context of agreements and organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of law firm experience.

  • Ability to understand the relationship of specific agreements to larger organizational goals.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in the state of practice.
