Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience for their Saratoga Springs, NY office. The successful candidate must possess strong communication, legal advocacy, and writing skills. Federal Court experience is preferred. The role requires excellent analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be a self-starter and will have the opportunity for immediate, direct client contact. A New York Bar license is required.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings
• Manage all aspects of litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong communication skills
• Legal advocacy skills
• Writing skills
• Federal Court experience preferred
• New York Bar license

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York Bar license
