Ethics and Risk Management Attorney

A law firm in Irvine is seeking an Ethics and Risk Management Attorney to join their team. The Ethics and Risk Management Attorney will play a crucial role in handling professional liability, ethics, and State Bar of California disciplinary matters. The ideal candidate is an active member of the State Bar of California with a strong academic background, possessing significant litigation practice experience. The candidate should demonstrate a solid work ethic, a passion for advocacy, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Duties:

• Handle professional liability cases, ethics, and State Bar of California disciplinary matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for litigation cases.
• Provide legal counsel on ethics-related issues and risk management strategies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases and advise the firm on potential risks.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

• Active member of the State Bar of California.
• 5+ years of experience in handling professional liability, ethics, and/or State Bar of California disciplinary matters.
• Strong academic background in law.
• Significant litigation practice experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active membership in the State Bar of California.
