Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview:
A respected national law firm is seeking a highly skilled Of Counsel attorney to join its litigation practice with a focus on pharmaceutical and medical device matters. This role requires substantial experience in Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice, along with a proven background in complex product liability litigation. The ideal candidate will have exceptional legal writing skills, strategic insight, and experience managing litigation teams. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model and is available in several key U.S. markets.

Location:

• Miami, FL

Duties:

• Draft and revise complex litigation documents including motions, briefs, and discovery responses

• Lead Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice in high-stakes product liability matters

• Supervise and mentor litigation associates

• Collaborate with expert witnesses, clients, and legal teams to support case strategy

• Participate in fact development and conduct or assist with depositions

• Manage case timelines and deliverables with a focus on quality and compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience

• Prior experience in an AmLaw 100 firm or similar litigation-focused environment preferred

• Demonstrated success in handling Daubert and Rule 702 issues

• Background in product liability litigation required

• Pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry experience is strongly preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

• Admission to the New York Bar is particularly encouraged
