Property Tax and Condemnation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Buffalo is seeking a Property Tax and Condemnation Associate Attorney. The Property Tax and Condemnation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling real property tax litigation, assessment challenges, valuation issues, and eminent domain matters. Strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

• Represent clients in real property tax litigation proceedings.
• Handle assessment challenges and valuation disputes.
• Provide legal counsel on eminent domain matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to property tax and condemnation issues.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and memoranda.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
• 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney in real property, tax, or litigation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar.
