Energy Associate Attorney

A law firm in Huntington is seeking an Energy Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience for its energy mineral title and division order practice. The ideal candidate will have experience commensurate with time in practice, with a preference for general property and/or mineral title experience in the energy sector. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently with clients and colleagues are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Conduct research and analysis related to energy mineral title and division order matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and title opinions.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on energy-related issues.
• Assist with negotiations and settlements.
• Interact with clients and legal teams to address their needs and concerns effectively.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in energy mineral title and division order practice.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
• General property and/or mineral title experience in the energy sector preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
