Business Outlook

Pros

Very competitive pay and benefits. Extremely professional work environment. Senior partners cultivate mentoring program for younger associates. There was opportunity and encouragement to participate in volunteer community activities.

Cons

As with any large firm, there is pressure to comply with billable hour requirements. The particular practice group I was involved with, was considered a secondary practice area so was looked ""down upon"" a bit by managing partners.

Cons: I recently had the unfortunate experience of working at Thompson Hine LLP and it was a terrible place to work. The attorneys were arrogant and consistently talked down to employees, making for a hostile and unpleasant work environment.
