Sidley Austin LLP announced the addition of a new tax partner in New York. Audry X. Casusol joined the Tax and Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice from Greenberg Traurig where she was a partner.
Casusol works with public and private companies and private equity clients in the U.S. and around the world needing advice on executive compensation and employee benefits, specifically mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, spin-offs, divestitures, and restructurings. She counsels boards of directors, management, and compensation committees on compensation arrangements, administrative and regulatory compliance with tax, employment and securities law, corporate governance and disclosure obligations involving executive compensation, employee benefits, and related matters. She also has significant experience with debt/equity exchanges, convertible securities, effect of tax treaties and other structured entities.
