Ogletree Deakins Strengthens Portland Office
Summary: Ogletree Deakins expanded their Pacific Northwest capabilities with the addition of a new shareholder.
Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, announced the addition of a shareholder in their Portland office. Tamsen Leachman is joining Ogletree Deakins from Littler Mendelson, where she was also a shareholder.
Managing shareholder Howard Rubin of the Portland office said, “Tamsen is an incredibly well-rounded attorney with a devotion to providing the best possible service for her clients. We are very excited that she is joining the Portland office of Ogletree Deakins.”
Leachman has nearly 25 years of experience in labor and employment law, focusing her practice on employment litigation, day-to-day employment law advice, and proactive training programs. Her litigation experience involves discrimination and harassment lawsuits, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
Leachman is a highly recognized attorney in her field. She has been named to The Best Lawyers in America list each year since 2014. From 2014-2017 she was named by Chamber USA as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. She is also a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Leachman is active in her community. She is currently the president of the Board of Directors for the Portland Human Resource Management Association, previously serving as General Counsel for the association, and is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Children’s Developmental Health Institute.
Leachman earned her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law and her B.A. from Eastern Washington University.
