Tax Practice of Bracewell’s New York Office Adds Partner

Tax partner Michele J. Alexander is joining the Bracewell LLP New York office. Her focus will be counseling clients on mergers and acquisitions, funds and joint ventures, real estate, bankruptcy, securities and capital markets, and compensation matters.

Included in Alexander’s experience is working with clients on mergers and acquisitions, debtors and creditors in bankruptcy and restructuring matters, and issuers and underwriters for public offerings and private placements of debt and equity. She has designed tax-efficient structures for international acquisitions and investments.
Alexander is joining from Lowenstein Sandler LLP. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from The College of New Jersey. She has also worked for Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
