Nixon Peabody Plans Expansion in China
Nixon Peabody is planning to expand in China by teaming up with Hylands. Hylands has over 300 employees in its Chinese offices. They include lawyers, patent and trademark agents and other legal industry professionals. Nixon Peabody hopes to use the alliance to boost its own profile in China and wants to tap into the local market using Hylands name which has earned a good reputation there over the years. Nixon Peabody’s presence in China is four years old and as of now it has seven attorneys in Shanghai and three in Hong Kong. It also has similar arrangements with other law firms in China.
