Job Overview

An esteemed law firm is currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Counsel to support a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of real estate transactions including purchase and sale agreements, leasing, joint ventures, and due diligence. Familiarity with sectors such as convenience stores, family offices, and renewables is advantageous. This opportunity is being offered by a legal recruitment agency on behalf of a prominent law firm.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate real estate purchase and sale agreements

  • Prepare and review commercial lease agreements

  • Structure and document real estate joint ventures

  • Conduct and manage due diligence for real estate transactions

  • Collaborate with other attorneys in a team-oriented legal environment

  • Provide legal counsel related to real estate operations within specialty sectors

Requirements

  • Significant experience handling real estate legal matters

  • Knowledge of real estate structures involving joint ventures and leasing

  • Familiarity with convenience store, family office, or renewable energy sectors is a plus

  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a professional legal setting

  • Open to consideration for both Counsel and Staff Attorney roles (3–6 years of experience)

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing in the applicable state
